BOGNOR REGIS CYCLING CLUB

WELCOME TO THE BRCC WEBSITE

Bognor Regis Cycling Club was formed in 1936 and caters for all standards of cycling, from beginner to veteran. The club has a friendly atmosphere and is also competitive when it comes to racing which is mainly in Road Time Trials.

Every Sunday morning throughout the year except when there is a special event or Morning Time Trial, we meet for a morning club run with a stop for elevenses at a cafe. Nobody is left behind. See the Contacts page for the Club Run organisers

During the spring and summer season the club holds time trials including 10 miles on Thursday Evenings and 25 mile Events on some Sunday mornings. See the Result Archive page with links to Results in 2007,2008,2009 and 2010 and the 2011Events/Results page for last year's details.

Whether you ride for leisure or sport, cycling is a great way to get fit and stay in shape and a club is the best place to get started, share advice, find out about cycling events and of course, enjoy riding with other keen cyclists. We meet socially on Tuesday evenings all year at St. Ninian’s Church Hall, Pagham Road, Nyetimber, from 8.30pm to 10.00pm.

Meet 06:00 @ Pink Pub, North Bersted(Royal Oak) or 06:30 @ Fishbourne Underpass(beneath A27) OR 07.45 at The Ferry Terminal, Portsmouth (Car Ferry to Fishbourne IOW)

N.B. We are NOT running a Club 25 on the morning of Sunday, June 17th.

PLEASE READ AND CONFORM TO RULE ONE OF OUR EVENING 10 COMPETITION - Pre-entry/booking a slot/reserving a number, etc MUST be done no later than 17:30 hours on the TUESDAY of the week in which you wish to ride.

Pre-entrants who subsequently find themselves unable to ride MUST then advise the organiser, or be excluded from pre-entry for the rest of the season.

Remember that from now until the end of July, we will probably be able to accept your 'on the line entry'. Thanks for your co-operation!!

The Rules and Events for the 2012 Evening 10 Points Competition are now available, scroll down for link.

All Competitors in BRCC organised Time Trials will be required to start on machines fitted with FLASHING Rear Lights incorporating a minimum of 3 L.E.Ds. Check batteries. As previously, Riders will be required to wear a Hard Shell Helmet complying with an internationally recognised safety standard.
